Much like everyone else, I've been receiving scam emails for just about as long as I've had an email address, and I''ll even admit I was taken in by the first one I received around 1998, to the point where I made contact and even sent some "gifts" to smooth the process.
Luckily, I learnt that it was a scam before I got in too deep; however, many people don't realize these emails are scams, and get taken, literally, to the cleaners.
I soon learned to just delete them automatically but, at one point, I as receiving so many of these emails that I decided to blog them for the benefit of others who were sure to have received them, don't see them for what they are and get taken too.
There are now hundreds of scam emails posted here. Thanks to search engines, thousands people have come to view them and, hopefully, saved themselves considerable pain in the process.
If you've received an email which seems to good to be true, it is. Just delete it, or forward it to moreafricanscams@yahoo.com, then delete it :)
Cheers for looking - please leave a comment.
